The FIRST Maui Oceanfront Marathon will be run between Wailea and Lahaina next January 25th. There is a 2,500 person registration limit for the Marathon. The Marathon will benefit the Lahaina Town Action Committee and Maui County high school teams, clubs, and other non profit foundations and organization that help put on the event. There are plans for a 5K to run through Lahaina and a Celebration of Fitness on Front Street after the races. Schools teams, clubs and other non-profit organization who want a piece of the pie should call The Lahaina Town Action Committee at 667-9175 to express their interest in becoming a partner in this exciting new scenic marathon being run during the cool month of January on Maui.
